Housing, cabinetry, millwork, windows and doors
Every home, kitchen and opening is a one-off. The BOM should not be.
Products a dealer sells and an end buyer chooses, built to a different size and specification on every order. Manufacts turns that variety into one parametric model, so the quote a dealer signs and the BOM the plant builds are the same thing.
What changes for a building-products manufacturer
The variety is the business. The cost of carrying it is what goes away.
Dealers quote in minutes
A guided, visual configurator with every choice validated and priced live. An order the plant cannot build never leaves the showroom.
One model per product line
Not one BOM per floor plan, kitchen or window size. Dimensions and options are parameters; the quantities compute.
Quantities purchasing can order
Scrap, waste factors and units of measure are part of the model. Shingles resolve to whole bundles, panels to whole sheets.
Housing
The floor plan is the source of truth
Draw or import the plan and the derived parameters follow: wall lengths, window and door counts, roof area, porch footprint. Change the plan and the BOM quantities move, the price follows, and the elevation sheets regenerate. Geometry, cost and quote stay one model instead of three documents.
- Plan-derived parameters feed formula quantities per zone
- Options and plant availability resolve per home, per plant
- Elevations, plan sheets and DXF export from the same model
- Release pinning keeps an ordered home on the rules it was sold under

v7 · frozen Every fire is explainable, versioned, and frozen per quote.
Cabinetry and millwork
A kitchen is a room of assemblies, not a list of SKUs
Lay out a run of cabinets and each box resolves its own bill of materials: carcass, doors, drawer boxes, hinges, finish. The room rolls them up, rules add fillers, panels and toe kicks, and a finish change re-prices the whole run at once. Room templates make the next kitchen a copy, not a rebuild.
- Per-room assemblies with room-level parameters
- Finish and hardware options swap parts across every box in the run
- Room templates and shared rules under change control
- 3D showroom with live finish swatches

Dealers, plants and price tiers in one place
Every dealer sees the catalog their plant can build, at their tier's price, in their own portal. Quotes convert to orders without re-keying, the plant sees the resolved BOM the moment the order lands, and the buyer can walk through the exact configuration before anything is cut.
- Dealer portal with plant-scoped catalogs and price books
- Quote to order to plant with one product model
- First-person walkthrough and material swatches for the end buyer
- Approvals and change notices for revisions after the sale

The details that make or break a building-products BOM
Units of measure and scrap
Engineering units in, purchasable units out, with scrap and rounding rules per material.
Plant-specific cost and availability
The same home costs differently in two plants and may not be buildable in one. The model knows.
Dealer tiers and price books
Per-tier pricing on every option and package, mirrored into the quote the instant a choice is made.
Drawings from the model
Elevation sheets, 2D plans and DXF export generated from the configuration, not drawn by hand.
Change notices and release pinning
Sold orders stay on the released revision; new orders pick up the new one.
Import from what you have
Bulk import of parts, BOMs and options from spreadsheets or a legacy PLM extract.

3D Showroom & Walkthrough
Let buyers walk through the exact product they configured, before the first part is cut.
Bring a floor plan or a kitchen. Leave with a resolved BOM.
In a 30-minute walkthrough we'll show how one of your product lines would be modeled, configured by a dealer, and resolved into the BOM your plant builds.
