Introducing Configure-to-Manufacture →

Every order one-of-a-kind. Every BOM ready to build.

Manufacts.ai is the Configure-to-Manufacture platform. Your customers configure a one-of-a-kind product; your factory gets a complete, costed, manufacturable bill of materials — automatically. No re-keying, no impossible orders, no spreadsheet sprawl.

The old way

Selling a custom product shouldn’t take five systems

CPQ prices it. PLM engineers it. CAD draws it. ERP builds it. Spreadsheets glue the gaps. Every handoff is a re-keying, a stale copy, or a phone call — and that’s where margin leaks.

Visual Configurator

Quote in minutes. Never sell the impossible.

Your customers and dealers configure a one-of-a-kind product through a guided, visual flow — every choice validated and re-priced live. A quote takes minutes, and an un-buildable order never leaves the room.

  • From a 3-day engineering ticket to a 3-minute self-serve quote
  • Incompatible options block themselves; required companions add themselves
  • The price a customer sees is tied to the real, rolled-up cost

A quote a customer trusts is one the factory has already agreed to build.

Parametric BOM Engine

Retire thousands of variant spreadsheets

A bill of materials that computes itself from dimensions and rules. One model stays correct for every size and option — so costing is accurate, and a new size is a parameter, not a new BOM to maintain.

  • Formula-driven quantities and recursive cost roll-up
  • Scrap, units of measure, phantoms, effectivity, per-instance overrides
  • One parametric definition replaces hundreds of hand-built variants

3D Showroom & Walkthrough

Let buyers walk through it before it’s built

Every selection renders in real time as the exact configuration — not a generic stock photo. Customers orbit the home, swap materials live, and walk through it in first person. Confidence closes deals.

  • A live digital twin of the exact configuration — never a stock render
  • First-person walkthrough with drag-look and minimap teleport
  • Live material swatches and choice-driven door & window openings

Rule & Constraint Engine

Your best engineer’s judgment, on every order

Capture engineering knowledge once as versioned, explainable rules — then enforce it on every configuration forever. Structural rules complete the BOM automatically; constraints keep selections valid.

  • Include, exclude, swap, set-quantity, and attribute effects
  • Scoped global, by BOM type, or per BOM, with priority resolution
  • Versioned and frozen per quote, with a human-readable Explain

A new category

Where do your products sit on the spectrum?

Every manufacturer trades lead time against customization — from make-to-stock to engineer-to-order. Configure-to-Manufacture spans the middle and pulls custom work leftward: each one-off you engineer becomes a reusable option the next customer simply configures.

How it fits together

Two portals. One resolution engine.

Sales and engineering work in their own surfaces — but read and write the same product truth, so a quote and a shop-floor BOM can never drift apart.

Configure → Build

The configuration a customer makes resolves into the exact BOM your factory builds — one model, no translation.

Computed, not copied

Quantities, cost, and validity are computed from rules and parameters — not maintained by hand in spreadsheets.

Explainable

Every rule, price, and resolved line is traceable, versioned, and frozen per quote.

Spans the spectrum

Fast configure-to-order for the many; graceful engineer-to-order for the exceptions — without leaving the system.

Built for the messy details

The parts vendors demo around, we demo first

Manufacturing is edge cases. Here's how Manufacts handles four of them, exactly as it does in the product.

57.2 EA → 58 BNDL

Units of measure that survive the lumberyard

Quantities compute in engineering units, then apply scrap and round up to the purchasable unit — shingles resolve to whole bundles, PEX to whole rolls. The BOM you quote is the one purchasing can actually order.

No problems found · 18 combinations tested

Rules proven safe before they ship

An offline verifier sweeps option combinations for dead ends, contradictions, and forced-but-hidden conflicts before a rule set is released — so a dealer can never configure themselves into a corner.

As ordered under rule set v1

Orders that stay explainable for life

Rule sets are versioned and frozen per quote. Two years later, every resolved line still re-derives exactly why it fired — even after the live rules have moved on.

plan.window_count: 6 → 7

The floor plan is the source of truth

Add a window in the plan editor and the derived parameters recompute, the BOM quantities move, and the price follows — geometry, cost, and quote are one model, not three documents.
